Angela Scanlon, Principal, Counselling Psychologist
B. Beh. Science, Grad Dip App Psych, MAPS, FCCOUNP
Angela Scanlon is a registered psychologist and Fellow of the College of Counselling Psychologists within the Australian Psychological Society. She is also a Member of the Australian Pain Society and the EMDR Association of Australia, and registered as a supervising psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. Angela is the director of Evergreen Psychology and Victorian Chronic Pain Care.
Angela has more than 20 years experience in providing services for clients in the private practice environment. She has vast experience in the areas of chronic pain and trauma, and is recognised as a provider in these areas. Angela also works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and major life changes.
Angela is experienced in working with complex clients, she works with adults, adolescents and groups. She provides an eclectic approach to working with her clients and utilises a number of therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Schema Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR).
Angela is available for appointments on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week.
Martin Booth, Psychologist
BA (Soc. Sci.), Grad Dip App Psych, Assoc. AAPi, CPRM, AIMM
Martin is a psychologist and member of the Australian Association of Psychologists and an affiliate member of the College of Organisational Psychologists.
Martin has worked in both the public and private sectors within education, manufacturing, risk management and transport. He has experience in the areas of trauma, critical incidents, employee assistance (EAP), chronic pain, anxiety, depression, risk management and psychometric assessment.
Martin has developed and delivered corporate training modules for industry including coping with trauma, mental health in the workplace, risk management and mentoring. He is equally comfortable working at the individual, group and organisation level.
Martin draws upon therapies including EMDR, Mindfulness, Ericksonian Hypnosis, CBT and Neuroscience.
Martin is available for appointments on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week.
Ann Scoullar, Psychologist
BA(Hons), MA(Psych), MScMed (PainMgt), MAPS
Ann is a registered psychologist, a member of the Australian Psychological society, the Australian Pain Society and registered as a supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia.
Ann has more than 15 years’ experience in providing services to clients in public and private practice. She has extensive experience in rehabilitation, organisational settings and manufacturing as well as with people life stresses. She has an interest in pain management and trauma and has experience working with clients with workplace issues, depression, anxiety and stress.
Ann uses a number of therapeutic techniques including Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
Ann is available for appointments on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week.
Peter Martin, Provisional Psychologist
B Arts (Hons) (Psych), M Prof Psych, Student MAPS
Peter is a provisional psychologist, undertaking his internship year in 2018-19. Peter completed his Masters of Professional Psychology at Monash University in 2017. He has been with us since 2015 and helps out with our group education and assessments, as well as providing individual counselling.
Peter’s areas of interest include pain management, trauma, depression and anxiety. He is a member of the EMDR Association of Australia. As well as EMDR, Peter incorporates several treatments into his therapy including CBT, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Schema Therapy.
Peter is available for appointments on Monday, Thursday and Friday each week.
Ashlee Edwards, Provisional Psychologist
B App Sc (Hons) (Psych), M Prof Psych, Student MAPS
Ash is a provisional psychologist undertaking her internship year in 2019-20 and is a student member of the Australian Psychological Society. She completed her Master of Professional Psychology at Monash University in 2018 and has assisted with our group programs since then.
Ash has an interest in pain management, trauma, depression and anxiety. She also has experience in working with both adult and youth populations. Ash uses a number of therapeutic techniques including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Ash is available for appointments on Friday each week.
